The Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra is Indiana’s first and only Big Band jazz ensemble dedicated to serving the Central Indiana community at large. Consisting of 16 musicians and 4 vocalists, all from Central Indiana, the IJO was created to represent the entire dynamic history of the Big Band’s era. Their concerts consist of a unique blend of instrumental and vocal music, along with dance and other entertainment elements that proves to be second to none.
